What you will do

• Craft, place, and tweak light sources to achieve desired mood and atmosphere across various environments.
• Set up lighting rigs, manage light bakes, optimize performance, and handle volumetric lighting.
• Collaborate with level designers and environmental artists to ensure visual consistency and guide players.
• Communicate project needs effectively with leads and managers.
• Apply post-processing effects such as color grading and bloom to enhance visuals.
• Ensure high visual quality within technical hardware constraints.

Requirements

• Must reside in Ontario, Canada.
• 2+ years professional experience as a Lighting Artist in the video game industry.
• Strong portfolio/demo reel showcasing lighting proficiency for video games (submission required).

Nice to have

• Experience with proprietary engines outside Unreal and Unity (e.g., Frostbite).
• Familiarity with Maya, Houdini, and Unreal Engine.
