What you will do

• Design and automate security controls, detection mechanisms, and tooling for infrastructure and products
• Research and recommend new information security technologies and frameworks
• Implement and maintain security monitoring and remediation systems
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security into features and pipelines
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling of core systems and vendors
• Lead incident response activities and support compliance initiatives

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States with preference for Central or Eastern timezones
• 3–6 years of experience in information security engineering or related domains
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with SIEM, threat detection, endpoint detection, SAST, SOAR, and vulnerability management
• Proficiency in scripting or automation (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
• Full professional proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Experience scaling security programs in high-growth SaaS companies
• Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty)
• Experience with secrets management systems like Hashicorp Vault
• Contributions to security communities or open-source projects
• Background in privacy engineering or secure software design
