What you will do
- Own and scale the mobile Design System for a playful, high-craft B2C product, extending it to interaction patterns, motion principles, content and microcopy standards, accessibility rules, branding guidelines, and usage documentation.
- Define a scalable token-first system enabling theming across multi-brand apps.
- Create illustrations, icons, and other graphical assets to support the Design System.
- Drive adoption, contribution workflows, versioning, deprecation, and quality gates for consistent use.
- Partner with engineers to integrate the Design System into the codebase and align design with implementation.
- Design visually engaging and highly polished interfaces for the B2C mobile app.
Requirements
- Portfolio showcasing Design System case studies.
- 5+ years of experience in UI or Product Design, with a strong focus on design systems.
- Proven experience with white-label and scalable theming systems.
- Deep understanding of Design System challenges, including adoption and governance.
- Expert in Figma, including Variables/Modes and scalable library workflows.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
