What you will do

• Conduct user research and translate findings into actionable design outcomes.
• Design low and high fidelity mockups and build prototypes, iterating solutions based on user feedback.
• Maintain and evolve the design system, including writing component specifications and defining accessibility standards.
• Create high fidelity mockups, write JIRA tickets, and assist with acceptance testing (quality assurance).
• Collaborate closely with remote designers, engineers, and product managers to assess feasibility and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Distill complex B2B processes and tasks into simple, elegant user experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience spanning the product design lifecycle with a high-growth SaaS company.
• Proven experience designing and shipping SaaS applications that help companies manage complex processes.
• Deep expertise in Figma or equivalent design software for mockups and prototyping.
• Experience delivering responsive web designs.
• Experience working directly with developers to assess the feasibility of proposed designs.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), human computer interaction, user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.

• Experience using a design system, ideally helping define and maintain components.
