Location: Athens, Greece; hybrid way of working with remote options

is a GameTech company powering Betano and operating across 20 markets with AI and technology products for millions of customers.
What you will do
- Manage and mentor a team of 5–7 data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Translate product requirements into machine learning problems and identify areas with high business impact.
- Analyze data, perform exploratory data analysis, engineer features, and generate actionable insights.
- Apply best practices for model selection, parameter tuning, optimization, and comparative experiments.
- Evaluate solutions using ML metrics and manage the full AI feature lifecycle from data collection to production optimization.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a people manager and extensive experience delivering machine learning models to production.
- Expert knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their theoretical foundations.
- Experience developing MLOps solutions and working with Big Data tools such as Spark or PySpark.
- Experience with cloud environments, ideally Azure or Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python’s machine learning ecosystem and solid object-oriented software engineering skills.
- Fluent English required, both oral and written.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of deep learning, the GenAI ecosystem, and modern RAG systems.
- Experience with pricing optimization, forecasting, or the betting industry.
