What you will do

• Develop RTL logic design, coding, and simulation for CPU functional units and IP blocks.
• Define and contribute to CPU architecture and microarchitecture features.
• Optimize RTL code for power, performance, area, and timing goals.
• Collaborate on verification planning and resolve RTL test failures.
• Document microarchitectural specifications and support SoC customer integration.
• Debug complex issues spanning RTL, tools, and software domains.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work in the US (Arizona or Texas).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 4+ years experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and simulation tools like VCS or Questasim.
• Programming skills in Perl, Python, or C/C++ with advanced debugging abilities.
• Experience designing coherent systems with advanced queues, pipelines, bus interfaces, and cache mechanisms.
• Scripting experience in interpreted languages and/or using AI for script generation/editing.
