Salary: $293,000 – $325,000 + equity

What you will do

• Design, implement, and debug system-level components and services across kernel and user space.
• Configure and maintain OS platform services and related tooling.
• Build and operate image and update pipelines ensuring reliability and rollback safety.
• Instrument and analyze performance using profiling and tracing; optimize CPU, memory, I/O, and power usage.
• Own platform observability and reliability including logging, crash capture, watchdogs, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver end-to-end features and support builds and deployments.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the United States.
• Experience shipping production systems software on modern operating systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages with strong OS internals knowledge.
• Strong systems debugging skills across kernel and user space.
• Experience building platform images and designing secure, reliable update mechanisms.

Nice to have

• Exposure to platform security features like secure boot and sandboxing.
• Experience with graphics/media, hardware acceleration, or high-throughput data paths.
• Familiarity with connectivity stacks and network configuration.
• Observability and diagnostics in distributed or resource-constrained environments.
• Contributions to open-source systems projects.
