What you will do

  • Own end-to-end LATAM payroll delivery and governance across multiple countries including Uruguay, Costa Rica, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Chile.
  • Drive compliance with tax, statutory reporting, and employment law requirements across LATAM.
  • Standardize and de-risk payroll operations while preparing for CloudPay and Remote platform implementations.
  • Partner with Finance, Tax, People Ops, and vendors to manage payroll transformation initiatives and ensure accurate payroll accounting.
  • Lead and develop the payroll team and act as a payroll subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Mexico
  • 7+ years of progressive multi-country LATAM payroll experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, governance, and vendor management.
  • People leadership experience managing payroll professionals.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CloudPay and/or Remote payroll platforms.
  • Workday HRIS/payroll integration experience.
  • Payroll implementation or migration leadership experience.
  • Experience with CBAs/union payroll administration in LATAM.
  • Fluency in Portuguese.
