What you will do

• Lead the technical creation of Nuke gizmos and tools required for the final look.
• Author, maintain, and improve show-specific compositing tools within Nuke for artists.
• Support, advise, educate, and mentor artists around proper compositing workflows.
• Advise on and support show Nuke templates, standards, and workflows.
• Create and maintain documentation on workflows, tools, process, and procedures for compositing aspects related to the show.
• Perform creative lighting development setup as required using lighting and compositing tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Nuke experience and proficient knowledge in compositing techniques and workflows.
• Capable of writing Nuke gizmos, plugins, nodes, and associated GUIs.
• Ability to write Python, BlinkScript, or similar production programming languages.
• Extensive hands-on production experience with compositing tools and pipelines.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• C++ or similar production programming languages are a plus.
• Able to interpret artistic direction to execute a final look through compositing.
• Production experience in Lighting, DigiMatte, or similar departments is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a changing environment.
• Technically and creatively astute.
