Technical Artist (Game Development)

TL;DR

Technical Artist (Game Development): Creating and integrating 3D content such as environment, ship decor, weapons, and other assets into a custom graphics engine for World of Warships: Legends with an accent on low-poly hard-surface modeling, pipeline scripting, and asset optimization. Focus on supporting content branches in testing, collaborating with game designers, QA, and programmers, and optimizing assets for performance and memory budgets.

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; onsite during probation, hybrid (3 days onsite) after probation

What you will do

• Create 3D content including environment, ship decor, weapons, and other assets
• Integrate content into a custom graphics engine
• Support content branches during testing
• Collaborate with Game Designers, QA Specialists, and Programmers

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years of relevant experience
• Low-poly hard-surface modeling skills including mesh, UV mapping, and texturing
• Experience with Maya or Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter
• Experience with version control systems
• Pipeline scripting and workflow optimization skills
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple platforms including mobile and consoles
• Programming and scripting skills (C++, Python, MEL)
• Rigging, skinning, and animation skills
• Experience with ZBrush or other digital sculpting tools
• Level design experience
