What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL pipelines from requirements to implementation.
• Work with multiple database technologies, especially BigQuery, and optimize data models for performance and scalability.
• Implement data governance best practices and maintain documentation.
• Utilize cloud-based big data tools (GCP preferred) and orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop and support complex business workflows and data processes ensuring high data quality.
• Support and optimize Tableau infrastructure for data visualization.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Tel Aviv, Israel
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with BigQuery or similar databases and cloud-based big data tools (GCP preferred).
• Proven experience designing complex business workflows and data processes.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with streaming data frameworks such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.
