What you will do

• Conduct cutting-edge research in generative AI and machine learning to build foundation models and AI agents for observability and SRE.
• Leverage large-scale distributed training infrastructure for pre-training and fine-tuning models on real-world telemetry data.
• Build simulated environments for agentic training and evaluation.
• Lead and contribute to research publications and open-source projects.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into hirify.global’s products.
• Engage with the AI research community and mentor interns.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Paris, France with hybrid work arrangement
• PhD or equivalent experience in computer science, machine learning, or related fields with expertise in generative modeling, AI agents, reinforcement learning, or NLP.
• Experience with deep learning models, distributed training frameworks (e.g., DeepSpeed, Megatron-LM), and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Proven research track record with publications at top-tier AI conferences.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex research to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interest in open science and open-source contributions.

Nice to have

• Experience bridging research and real-world product applications, especially with large foundation models and generative AI agents.
• Experience writing production data pipelines and GPU programming including CUDA.
