Data Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Take full ownership of design to production, impacting the entire development lifecycle.
• Solve complex, large-scale problems with limited clarity on solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Analysts, Data Scientists, and Engineers to deliver customer value.
• Analyze and optimize system performance, scalability, and stability.
• Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies to keep systems innovative and scalable.
• Mentor team members, lead projects, and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work from Herzliya, Israel.
• 3+ years development experience with a passion for excellence.
• Experience in data engineering and GCP ecosystem including BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow (Apache Beam).
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow.
• B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent.
• Excellent collaboration and proactive problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with backend real-time high throughput low latency systems.
• Experience with Spark.
• Familiarity with Terraform or GitOps technologies.
• Hands-on experience with GCP/AWS cloud environments across multiple regions.
