What you will do

• Build and maintain modern backend infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, resilient, and optimized for high-performance data processing and system reliability.
• Take full ownership of features from architectural design to deployment, including handling day-to-day development tasks, system optimizations, and support tickets to ensure seamless product growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Frontend teams to build robust APIs and services that power intuitive, high-performance user experiences.
• Establish best practices for code quality, system modularity, and testing, ensuring the stability and maintainability of microservices and databases.
• Partner with Frontend engineers to design efficient data contracts and API specifications, ensuring smooth data flow and optimal system integration as services evolve.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or a related degree or a strong track record in server-side development with advanced technical skills.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a demonstrated ability to work on large-scale projects and solve complex technical problems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Kotlin, Java, C++, Go, or equivalent.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native architecture (e.g., Kubernetes, microservices), and APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with experience debugging and resolving production issues in complex systems.
