Security Engineer (Product Security)

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy robust security solutions and infrastructure components.
• Monitor, investigate, and triage complex security alerts and incidents, developing automated detection rules.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new features and system updates.
• Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and product managers to provide security guidance and mentorship.
• Participate in daily platform security operations, documentation, ticket management, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Must be located in Gothenburg, Sweden and able to work onsite.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in security engineering.
• Strong foundational knowledge of computer security principles.
• Proficiency or background in coding/scripting, preferably Go and/or Python.
• Knowledge of cloud security, preferably AWS or GCP.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proficient in network protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, REST, and GraphQL.
