Senior Blockchain Security Engineer

What you will do

• Identify gaps in crypto-security infrastructure and lead cross-functional initiatives to address them
• Perform security assessments, framework development, and threat modeling for blockchain protocols and smart contracts
• Advise software engineering teams on secure code and architecture for smart contract development
• Drive roadmap and vision for internal blockchain security tools and automation opportunities
• Investigate blockchain upgrades, zero-knowledge proofs, and novel innovations in the space
• Publish findings and present on vulnerabilities, incident investigations, and integration risks

Requirements

• Strong understanding of blockchains, especially EVM chains
• 4+ years in security engineering focused on blockchain, distributed systems, or cryptographic infrastructure
• Expertise in application security, cryptographic primitives, and threat modeling of backend crypto systems
• Familiarity with onchain activity fundamentals including explorers, funds tracing, DEXs, NFTs, and smart contracts
• Leadership and mentorship experience in cross-functional roles or team leadership
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex security risks for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience responsibly using AI/agentic tooling in workflows

Nice to have

• Knowledge of security architecture for non-EVM blockchains
• Deep understanding of advanced cryptography such as zk-SNARKs, FHE, and MPC
• Experience with MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, or Dune
