What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management across a large engineering community.
• Design and define scalable, loosely coupled microservices using industry best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code on impactful payment systems.
• Build, own, and operate systems ensuring high resilience and service levels.
• Lead and drive critical projects, managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior team members and support their technical growth.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Shanghai, China with hybrid work onsite three days a week.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in .NET C#, Java, or Go with strong software development principles in backend or fullstack.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in agile environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Payments or financial knowledge is a plus but not required.
