Senior Software Performance Engineer: Responsible for setting the technical direction and architectural design of software projects, evaluating technology readiness, and designing end-to-end solutions. What you will do

  • Set the technical direction and architectural design of software projects.
  • Evaluate ecosystem technology readiness and design end-to-end solutions architectures.
  • Make high-level design choices for the software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms.
  • Determine coding practices, development tools, and validation requirements.
  • Perform pathfinding and surveys technologies.
  • Interact with technologists across hirify.global and within the industry.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science with 8 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Solid knowledge of at least two languages: Java/Scala/C/C++.
  • Basic English communication skills to collaborate with engineers from other countries.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate technical details.
  • Proficient in big data frameworks such as Spark/Flink and Hadoop.
  • Solid track record in performance optimization on sophisticated distributed software stack.
  • Rich experience in open-source project contribution such as Apache or Linux Foundation.
