TL;DR
Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Develop and automate security processes to reduce manual remediation and enhance security capabilities with an accent on attacker mindset and adversary research. Focus on building proactive security automation, managing security escalations, and supporting a fast-paced security team.
Location: Fully remote, excluding California and New York metro areas
Salary: $117,000 - $130,000 USD

What you will do
- Build proactive security automation to reduce manual remediation work
- Research and publish novel security methods
- Participate in monthly security on-call rotations for critical escalations
- Develop security capabilities using attacker mindset and adversary research
- Support cross-functional collaboration and maintain operational efficiency
Requirements
- Must be able to pass federal, state, and county background checks
- Complete local in-person verification
- 2+ years experience in security domain with SaaS exposure
- Experience automating tasks using programming languages like Python, Go, or Node.js
- Ability to triage security issues considering reachability and business impact
- Experience in mid-stage startup security programs balancing competing priorities
- Enjoy discussing and improving security practices
