TL;DR

Senior Web Engineer: Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the user experience of the web banking platform, building accessible and intuitive interfaces. Focus on owning the development of new features from start to finish and working closely with backend engineers to design APIs.

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid model: 3 days a week in the office

What you will do

• Collaborate with designers to iterate and improve the UX of the web banking platform, building accessible and intuitive interfaces.
• Actively contribute to every stage in the product development lifecycle within your team, and owning the development of new features from start to finish.
• Work closely with backend engineers to design APIs to support new frontend features.
• Collaborate with other web engineers to add brand-new features to the Payments Acquiring web platform.

Requirements

• Love building products in cross disciplinary teams using an iterative approach, driven by user feedback and data insight.
• Care deeply about providing a great user experience for our users.
• Have an interest in building performant web experiences and designing/building UI that makes it easy for users to accomplish what they need.
• Enjoy working in a large front-end codebase with many stakeholders.
• Understand the importance of prioritisation in your work to ensure a good balance between development velocity and code quality.
• Have developed modern component-oriented JavaScript applications using frameworks and libraries (e.g React, Vue, Angular, Flow/Typescript, Webpack etc).
