What you will do

• Design and build backend features in Java using Spring, Hibernate/JPA, and PostgreSQL
• Develop a SaaS product leveraging open source and AWS technologies
• Lead design discussions, write RFCs, and plan sprints with the team
• Improve code quality through continuous refactoring and technical debt management
• Troubleshoot production incidents using Datadog, BetterStack, and Incident.io
• Mentor team members and own domain architecture in collaboration with architects

Requirements

• Location: Must work in a hybrid setup based in Brno, Czech Republic
• Experience with Java backend development (Spring, Hibernate/JPA, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with SaaS product development and AWS technologies
• Ability to lead technical discussions and write RFCs
• English proficiency at least B2 level
