What you will do
- Design, develop, and test new features for distributed cloud-native storage systems.
- Deliver maintainable, high-quality code across cloud storage components.
- Drive feature development independently from design through deployment.
- Collaborate with cloud hyperscalers, SRE, product management, and engineering teams.
- Participate in design reviews, architectural discussions, and problem investigations.
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices and technical execution.
Requirements
- Must have 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, C++, or C programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
- Location requirement: Must be based in or able to work from the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience in networking and storage, especially cloud-based or distributed storage systems.
- Exposure to Software Defined Storage or large-scale cloud-native data platforms.
- Understanding of high-availability systems, filesystems, or networking protocols.
