What you will do

• Design, develop, and test new features for distributed cloud-native storage systems.
• Deliver maintainable, high-quality code across cloud storage components.
• Drive feature development independently from design through deployment.
• Collaborate with cloud hyperscalers, SRE, product management, and engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, architectural discussions, and problem investigations.
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices and technical execution.

Requirements

• Must have 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, C++, or C programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
• Location requirement: Must be based in or able to work from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in networking and storage, especially cloud-based or distributed storage systems.
• Exposure to Software Defined Storage or large-scale cloud-native data platforms.
• Understanding of high-availability systems, filesystems, or networking protocols.
