What you will do

• Work with Linux environments and command-line tools to manage network and security systems.
• Utilize shell scripting (Bash) and Python scripting for automation tasks.
• Employ text processing tools such as grep, sed, awk, and cut for data manipulation.
• Automate configurations using Jinja2 templates and integrate systems via REST APIs.
• Work with automation platforms such as Ansible to manage network and security.
• Integrate network and security systems via APIs and troubleshoot automated processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience working with Linux environments and command-line tools.
• Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash) and basic Python scripting.
• Experience with text processing tools such as grep, sed, awk and cut.
• Knowledge of SSH, file permissions, process and package management.
• Experience using Jinja2 templates for configuration automation.
• Experience with REST APIs and data formats such as JSON or XML.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts and version control (Git).
• Understanding of network automation and configuration management.
• Experience integrating network and security systems via APIs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of security automation tools such as FortiGate or Checkpoint.
• Experience working with automation workflows and troubleshooting automated processes.
• Linux certifications such as LFCS, LFCA or RHCSA.
• Automation certifications such as Red Hat Ansible or RHCE.
