What you will do

• Lead engineering efforts to architect and build scalable platform components for portfolio accounting and tax systems.
• Develop and ship new features using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Kafka, and big data technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, business sponsors, and global teams to deliver high-quality tax reporting solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers to enhance team capabilities.
• Perform build vs buy analysis and identify technical frameworks.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States (Salt Lake City preferred) and able to work onsite.
• 10+ years experience with Java and J2EE frameworks, Spring, REST services, JMS, Hibernate/JPA, JSON.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Kafka.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, Git, and Jira methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment.
