What you will do

• Collaborate with technology leaders and product teams to translate goals into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications aligned with business objectives.
• Lead technical architecture and design of Java projects ensuring scalability and performance.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot system bottlenecks.
• Conduct validation and performance tests to ensure system flexibility and capacity.
• Perform code reviews to maintain software quality and best practices.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Barcelona, Madrid, or Buenos Aires
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Java development and software architecture.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with event-driven architecture and software development life cycle.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Newrelic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, and ELK.
