Location: Hybrid in Bremen, Hamburg, or Berlin, Germany. 25 days of workation are allowed from EU foreign countries.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Help re-architect systems and processes for delivering millions of printed and digital tickets.
• Safely integrate internal and external systems using event-driven and API-first approaches.
• Evolve responsible AI usage patterns and AI-ready architecture with your team.
• Ensure end-to-end observability, performance, and security (using Grafana Cloud).
• Embrace and optimize the "you build it, you run it" philosophy within your team.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and a proven product builder mindset.
• Mastery of several languages and ecosystems, primarily Java and TypeScript.
• Deep production-grade experience with stacks like Spring Boot and Angular, including test automation.
• Experience designing eventually-consistent, event-driven, API-first architectures based on relational databases.
• Willingness and ability to co-operate with modern cloud environments (AWS and on-prem Kubernetes-based infrastructure).
• Great communication skills, spoken and in writing, in English or German.
