What you will do

• Think about the customer first and improve holidays as part of the travel technology team on core platform services
• Maintain, test, and deploy microservices while taking full ownership
• Design scalable architectures balancing performance with pragmatic solutions
• Drive AI-first mindset, tackling security, testing, compliance, and cost challenges collaboratively
• Partner with developers, Product Managers, and Platform team, sharing knowledge and learning continuously

Requirements

• At least 4 years professional experience developing backend systems and services in distributed environments, ideally microservices
• Proficiency in Scala or modern Java (with interest in learning Scala), familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with and enthusiasm for Agentic Coding, interest in evolving toward solution architect/orchestrator role
• Results-oriented mindset with creativity and proactive attitude in ambiguity
• Appreciation for honest, constructive feedback
• Genuine passion for the work
