What you will do
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and COO on legal, regulatory, and risk matters.
- Support the evolution of hirify.global’s global commercial contracting strategy and scale contract processes.
- Lead global privacy and data governance programs aligned with hirify.global’s handling of sensitive financial and personal data.
- Provide legal guidance on AI-native product development, including data usage, model governance, and transparency.
- Build and maintain a practical, scalable compliance framework appropriate for a global fintech platform.
- Lead and develop a high-performing legal team, managing disputes and investigations.
Requirements
- Senior Leadership: Significant experience as General Counsel, Deputy GC, or equivalent in a high-growth technology company.
- Commercial Expertise: Deep experience with enterprise commercial contracts and complex customer environments.
- Data & Privacy: Strong background in privacy, data protection, and regulatory risk (ideally in fintech, SaaS, or data-intensive platforms).
- Scale: Proven ability to scale legal processes in fast-moving, global organizations.
- Management: Experience leading and developing senior legal leaders.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting AI-driven products or emerging technology platforms.
- Global experience across EMEA and APAC markets.
- Prior exposure to regulated financial services (banks, RIAs, institutional clients).
- Experience with M&A, or other strategic liquidity events.
