Firmware Engineer (PCIe)

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA. This position may require access to technology and/or software subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. As such, applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under applicable law. hirify.global may be required to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce and/or the U.S. Department of State. Salary: $94,160–$141,000 per annum

What you will do

• Conduct PCIe post-silicon bring-up and function validations.
• Implement automation scripts for DUT and test equipment including traffic generators, PCIe protocol exercisers and analyzers, scopes, and temperature chambers.
• Support and resolve customer-reported issues.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience for Bachelor's degree holders.
• Working knowledge of Python and C/C++ programming.
• Fundamental understanding of firmware and software architecture.
• Working experience with Linux and Windows OS and cross-platform compatibility.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to write easy-to-understand, modularized, and structured code.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of computer systems, Ethernet protocol, physical devices, and DSP.
