TL;DR
Software Engineer (Distributed Systems): Building and enhancing an open-source application platform responsible for the entire lifecycle, including provisioning, installation, and reliable operation of distributed applications globally. Focus on owning the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying DevOps best practices.
Location: Must be able to work from 's Canberra or Melbourne office at least three-four days a week and must have the right to work in Australia.

What you will do
- Build, maintain, and enhance an open-source application platform for provisioning, installing, and reliably operating applications.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams, operations teams, and product managers to solve complex problems.
- Learn and apply DevOps best practices within a global 24x7 team.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in software engineering or computer science.
- 2 - 5 years of commercial experience regularly delivering quality software.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and at least one other modern programming language.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative nature.
- A curious mindset with a keen interest in customer impact.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
- Must be able to work from 's Canberra or Melbourne office at least three-four days a week.
