Senior Systems Engineer (Service Provisioning): Building and optimizing an internal platform for managing the lifecycle of over 3,000 microservices with an accent on designing an infrastructure control plane, operational safety, and deployment streamlining. Focus on enabling massive scaling targets, improving developer experience, and resolving systemic issues in provisioning workflows.

Location: Hybrid work model, requiring office attendance 2-3 times/week in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

What you will do

• Design and implement a unified infrastructure control plane for provisioning resources and deploying applications.
• Drive operational safety and efficiency by implementing mechanisms for large-scale infrastructure changes.
• Streamline deployment processes through robust application configuration and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Modernize core infrastructure, moving away from legacy tools to a resilient, scalable platform.
• Improve developer experience for deploying and managing services.
• Contribute to the core infrastructure platform supporting hirify.global's growth and stability.

Requirements

• Consolidated experience with Cloud Providers (AWS preferred) and mastery of Kubernetes (EKS).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Golang, and experience with distributed systems (Queues, Concurrency).
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, navigating complex execution paths and making autonomous decisions.
• Experience working on high-scale platforms and managing large-scale distributed systems.
• English: Intermediate to advanced level required for effective collaboration with a global team.
• Work Model: Hybrid 2-3 times/week in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Nice to have

• Experience building internal developer platforms (IDP) or infrastructure-as-a-service for other engineers.
