Audit It Assurance Associate

TL;DR

Audit IT Assurance Associate: Delivering IT audit services, including testing and assessment of information systems controls in support of financial statement audits with an accent on identifying security and risk management issues. Focus on understanding client operations, processes, and business objectives to provide effective IT assurance.

Location: Consistent with the firm’s hybrid work model, this position will require in-person attendance at least two days per week, either at a GT office or client site. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

What you will do

• Apply knowledge of IT trends and systems processes to identify security and risk management issues.
• Maintain professionalism and rapport with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives.
• Participate in recruiting efforts as needed.
• Meet or exceed IT Assurance metrics (e.g. – billable hours, CPE, time delinquencies, etc…)
• Participate in other business development activities as appropriate

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Desire to pursue CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CISM license/certification.
• Some related work experience in public accounting or equivalent delivering controls-based services.
• Information Security experience or information security training is required.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications.
