What you will do
- Work closely with portfolio managers to understand and translate business requirements to technical requirements.
- Design, test, and implement processes, tools, and systems in partnership with IT and external vendors to support front-office investment workflows.
- Develop and write test plans for system, process, and product upgrades, including participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop and maintain user guides and documentations for front-office investment workflow systems.
- Plan and implement roadmaps for desired front-office workflow with client departments, including feature development and upgrades.
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot front-office processes to ensure smooth functioning and resolve production issues.
- Manage project implementations with vendors, covering procurement and administrative issues.
- Oversee change management to facilitate new product and system adoption.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in business-related or IT-related fields.
- At least 4 years relevant working experience, including business analysis/product management of systems in the asset management domain.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Adept communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders across all levels.
- Experience working in cross-functional groups, influencing teams towards achieving shared goals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying technical requirements.
- Experience in developing test plans and managing testing for project implementation/enhancements.
- Experience in developing and maintaining user guides and system documentations.
- Knowledge and experience in investment systems, including but not limited to Murex, SimCorp Dimension, Blackrock Aladdin, and Charles River.
- Understanding of public markets transactions workflow – from front to back office – particularly in the fixed income and foreign exchange market space.
