Location: Remote across Canada; hybrid (2 days/week in office) for those local to Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto hubs.

Salary: $149,600 to $202,400 CAD

What you will do

• Provide strong, senior-level development expertise to the Application Security Team.
• Develop and implement tools to help educate, reduce toil, and prevent security flaws.
• Provide detailed guidance and support to teams in vulnerability remediation, along with remediating vulnerabilities in core codebases.
• Advise on security best practices within hirify.global’s application security teams.
• Identify, improve, and implement tools for automated application scanning, static analysis, and custom tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby, Python, Javascript, or other equivalent modern languages.
• Experience in secure software development; application security; and security tools development and implementation, especially in CI/CD environments.
• Experience in cloud security, threat modeling, and architecture review.
• A keen interest in improving your craft using AI.
• Work authorization for Canada required.
