What you will do

• Partner with directors to set the overall vision and direction for the tools.
• Create and drive the vision of the UX rules and principles for the entire toolset.
• Collaborate with other teams on technical solutions, pipelines, and tools supporting game implementation.
• Take ownership of UX design in the toolset, from ideation to final quality implementation.
• Analyze, pitch, prototype, and develop technical design features, systems, and tools for an unannounced AAA project.
• Create high-level documentation with company-wide UX guidelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience shipping AAA titles in UX design roles.
• Ability to communicate design vision and align it within the team.
• Experience with game development tools such as Unity, Unreal, or similar proprietary tools.
• Extensive player experience with various game genres, including action, RPG, open world, and online titles.
• Experience in developing multiplayer games and understanding the functioning of client-server architecture.

Nice to have

• Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles.
• Proven experience in UX for software development outside of the game development industry.
