What you will do

• Analyze different memory architectures and highlight their tradeoffs.
• Design and build memory or circuit blocks at the gate or transistor level.
• Simulate and analyze circuit designs, including post-layout simulations and verification.
• Perform physical implementation floorplanning and leafcell layout integration to build physical macros.
• Integrate characterization flow to extract timing and power information.
• Develop scripts to automate characterization flow, simulations, and verification, and help debug silicon issues.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge in development of memory compilers or custom digital circuits (SRAMs, Register-files, Multi-ports, ROM).
• Good understanding of transistor level circuit behavior and device physics.
• Understanding of signal integrity, EM/IR, reliability analysis, DFT schemes, and chip-level integration.
• Proficiency in running simulators and writing automation scripts.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
