TL;DR

Test Automation Engineer: Responsible for the full cycle of automated testing, designing and implementing end-to-end test scenarios for UI and API systems, with an accent on understanding overall system architecture and conducting root-cause analysis of identified defects. Focus on building high-quality coverage for complex SaaS systems and ensuring product stability.

Location: Hybrid working options, Must be based in EMEA

What you will do

Design and implement end-to-end automation test scenarios for UI and API systems.
Collaborate closely with other automation, Dev, PMO, and PM teams.
Conduct root-cause analysis of identified defects, providing sufficient details for resolution.
Participate in the release procedure before production.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Automation development within medium to large teams.
Strong background in testing and automation methodologies and tools like CI/CD.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with REST API.
Substantial development experience using OOP languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
Substantial experience with automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Puppeteer.
Experience with functional testing and creative thinking for high-quality coverage.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP).

Nice to have

Experience with Agile methodology.
Familiarity with Playwright and TypeScript.
Basic Kubernetes and microservices knowledge.
Familiarity with reporting tools such as Report-Portal.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
