QA Automation Engineer

TL;DR

QA Automation Engineer (Clearing Systems): Design, develop and maintain end-to-end automated tests integrated with UI, APIs and backend databases for enterprise-grade clearing platforms with an accent on large-scale testing environments supporting critical business processes. Focus on implementing UI browser tests, REST/GraphQL API tests, database validations and using AI-based tools to accelerate test development and troubleshooting.

What you will do

• Analyse functional requirements and business logic of the clearing platform
• Execute manual smoke tests and design end-to-end automated tests
• Implement UI browser tests and API tests (REST, GraphQL)
• Validate results via backend database interactions
• Manage large Git repositories, peer code reviews and test codebases
• Use AI tools for testing support and extend internal AI agents
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis with dev and ops teams

Requirements

• Fluent English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
• University degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent frameworks
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge
• Strong SQL skills for complex queries and data validation
• Experience with relational databases and backend validation
• Python knowledge for internal AI systems
• Advanced Git and experience with large-scale testing projects
• Understanding of service-oriented architectures

Nice to have

• Greek language skills
• Familiarity with IBM DB, MariaDB
• Interest in LLMs, prompt engineering, AI-assisted testing
• Jenkins or CI/CD tools
