Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

What you will do

• Apply modern C++ (C++20/C++23) concepts and architecture to ensure code scalability.
• Maintain and extend communication standards for retail POS solutions.
• Optimize hardware utilization on diverse platforms.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and static code checks.
• Prototype and develop new features and products.

Requirements

• In-depth experience in modern C++ coding, threading, and memory management.
• Good understanding of CMake or comparable build tools.
• Familiarity with professional software development tools like git, Agile, and containerization.
• Comfortable in a hybrid setup (3 days office / 2 days remote).
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Solid baseline in Computer Vision, image processing, or efficient ML inference.
• Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization technologies.
• Experience with ML inference engines like PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT.
• Conan or similar package managers.
• C++ unit testing / TDD.
• Python based prototyping.
• Networking protocols (HTTP, MQTT).
