What you will do

• Create high-quality 2D character, prop, VFX, and UI animations using Spine and Unity.
• Own the animation pipeline from rig setup to in-engine integration, ensuring smooth implementation and optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to prototype and refine gameplay motion, enhancing feedback and readability.
• Define and maintain animation quality standards across features and live content.
• Inject personality, rhythm, and weight into animation loops and transitions.

Requirements

• +5 years of 2D animation experience with Spine and Unity, including rig creation and in-engine integration.
• Deep understanding of animation principles (anticipation, timing, spacing, easing, follow-through, squash and stretch, and appeal).
• A sharp eye for rhythm, weight, and emotional clarity in interactions.
• A proactive and ownership-driven mindset, comfortable setting quality standards.

Nice to have

• Experience in casual or stylized games.
• Contribution to animation pipelines or systems.
