TL;DR

Senior Tax Advisor (Gamedev): Contributing to strategic tax compliance, advisory, and controversy matters for the EMEA+ region with an accent on corporate tax, VAT, WHT, and transfer pricing. Focus on monitoring changes in tax laws, providing technical support for commercial transactions and restructurings, and driving automation within the tax team.

Location: Hybrid, based in Dublin, Ireland (at least 2 days a week in office)

What you will do

  • Prepare and coordinate corporate tax, VAT/GST, and WHT returns for the EMEA+ region.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly US GAAP provisioning, including current/deferred tax calculations.
  • Support the Global Tax team, third-party advisors, and local finance teams on transfer pricing documentation.
  • Provide technical tax support for proposed commercial transactions and restructurings in the EMEA region.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in local country tax laws and regulations to recommend appropriate responses.
  • Support consultancy projects and ad-hoc advisory matters within the global and EMEA Tax team.

Requirements

  • AITI qualified from a large practice, with an ACA qualification being a strong advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax/accounting or relevant industry.
  • Strong work ethic and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to organize work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with financial/tax modeling and automation.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Google suite.
