What you will do

  • Collaborate with design leadership and artists to create unique spaces where gameplay flow and visual composition form memorable experiences.
  • Design, prototype, implement, and polish in-game spaces and content, including level geometry, enemy encounters, and other gameplay activities using proprietary tools.
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams to create open-world locations for a variety of quests and activities.
  • Provide constructive feedback to peers and contribute to team-wide design discussions.
  • Manage tasks and deadlines effectively, communicating progress and challenges across disciplines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a professional Level Designer.
  • Experience with technical game design, including implementation in tools, game logic, and visual scripting.
  • Strong understanding and execution of Open World Level Design fundamentals in modern game engines.
  • Ability to collaborate and thrive as part of a creative team, comfortable with self-critique and accepting outside feedback.
  • Eagerness to work independently and take ownership of tasks in a highly confidential environment.
  • Creativity in problem-solving with a mindful approach to putting the team first.
  • Experience pitching level design concepts in a clear, detailed manner, through strong written and verbal skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AAA games.
  • Major recognition in your field of work.
  • Having made your own game as a side or indie project.
  • Experience in adjacent fields such as content design, narrative design, or environment art.
  • An interest in Open World RPGs.
