What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Architect and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs as well as microservices-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and improve system architecture.
- Optimize database schemas and queries, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- Support DevOps and cloud initiatives by working with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Backend developer.
- 4+ years of experience with Node.js.
- 3+ years of experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with architecting and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or microservices.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including monitoring/logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Experience in up-skilling engineering teams through practices such as pair programming.
- Experience with database design and management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Proficiency with AWS and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice to have
- Experience in distributed systems design and implementation.
- Knowledge of message brokers, specifically Kafka.
