What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Architect and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs as well as microservices-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and improve system architecture.
• Optimize database schemas and queries, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
• Support DevOps and cloud initiatives by working with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Backend developer.
• 4+ years of experience with Node.js.
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with architecting and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or microservices.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including monitoring/logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Experience in up-skilling engineering teams through practices such as pair programming.
• Experience with database design and management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Proficiency with AWS and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience in distributed systems design and implementation.
• Knowledge of message brokers, specifically Kafka.
