TL;DR
Solution Architect (Fintech, iGaming): Designing and optimizing high-level technical solutions for end-to-end tech products with an accent on infrastructure bottlenecks, fault tolerance, and security standards. Focus on reviewing substantial design changes, implementing long-term IT infrastructure roadmaps, and evaluating architectural improvements like microservices.
Location: Valencia, Spain. This position offers relocation support (tickets, hotel for 2 weeks) to Valencia. BrainRocket is hiring specialists who have already relocated from Russia.
Salary: 8,500 €/month net

What you will do
- Identify bottlenecks in infrastructure and optimize system performance.
- Design fault-tolerant systems and implement disaster recovery strategies.
- Enforce security standards for applications and infrastructure.
- Review substantial changes and design documents, proposing better solutions and best practices.
- Optimize cloud and on-premise resources for cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Help implement the long-term roadmap of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering and/or DevOps.
- 5+ years hands-on experience in cloud technologies (ideally AWS).
- Extensive hands-on experience with K8s and containers, infrastructure, and system design.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, storage, caching, and logging.
- Proven work on scalable, fast, resilient system designs.
