Cyprus investment firm with office in Limassol is looking for a Settlement office into πΉ Finance department.
πPrincipal Responsibilities:
β’ Day to day accounting and record keeping processes (including but not limited to data validation and reconciliation) as well as timely closure of operational day/month/quarter/year in accounting and other systems;
β’ Manage month-end and year-end financial statement closing procedures;
β’ Serve as a liaison with external auditors during the annual audit process;
β’ Coordinate with Operations department on data reconciliation, data collection as well as on integration of back office into accounting system;
β’ Preparation of detailed monthly management reports;
β’ Analyze financial information to provide a clear summary of the companyβs financial status;
β’ Ensure strict compliance with applicable accounting principles;
β’ Report on financial findings and offer actionable recommendations for improvement;
β’ Assist the CFO in budget preparation, adhering to set timelines;
β’ Perform any additional duties as requested by the CFO that align with the role.
π Key requirements:
β’ Educated to bachelorβs degree level or the equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
β’ Hold a professional accounting qualification such as the ACCA or ACA
β’ Solid accounting experience, 5+ years in similar position in Banks or Investment Firms
β’ Mandatory prior experience in a similar role within the bank or investment company.
β’ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formula use and pivot tables.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
β’ Strong analytical and communication skills.
β’ A high level of confidentiality.
