Senior Associate Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Associate Engineer: Designs, develops, builds, and implements new components, products, and technologies, with an accent on researching materials, prototyping, and testing. Focus on translating functional requirements into detailed design documents and supporting technical reports.

Location: Onsite in Tianjin, China, five days a week.

What you will do

• Research new materials and competitive products.
• Organize, coordinate, and execute the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.
• Assist supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and performance.
• Develop and document functional requirements and translate them into detailed design documents.
• Participate in buy-build analysis for product components.
• Support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.

Requirements

• Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
• Extensive experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Working knowledge of effective communication and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong technical excellence and ability to develop solutions to technical challenges.
• Working knowledge of product design and development, from concept through production.
• Must work onsite five days a week in Tianjin, China.
