What you will do

• Lead and drive complex, multi-functional security initiatives from conception to delivery.
• Define technical strategy, roadmaps, and execution for major security architectural components within hirify.globalsearch.
• Develop foundational security models for intricate features and optimize security performance at massive scale.
• Apply cryptographic solutions to address genuine customer use cases and ensure robust data isolation.
• Drive technical excellence and develop a culture of security awareness and high-performance engineering.
• Act as a principal voice in architectural and design discussions for hirify.globalsearch and the hirify.global Stack.

Requirements

• Expert Core Java and Concurrency: Deep expertise in Java internals, JVM memory management, and writing high-performance, thread-safe code.
• Authorization at Scale: Proven experience building scalable AuthZ systems, including RBAC/ABAC models and permission compilation in distributed databases.
• Distributed Systems Fundamentals: Strong understanding of distributed systems security, node-to-node trust, and secure transport.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to define the technical vision and roadmap for authorization and data isolation features.
• Deep knowledge of IAM & Cloud Security protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML).
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for security features, driving cross-team alignment.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of Applied Cryptography, including cipher suites, TLS, and certificate management.
• Hands-on experience mapping technical controls to FedRAMP, FIPS, and SOC 2 standards.
• Experience working on the internals of a data store or search engine.
