We are producing a 6-minute narrative 360° VR experience built entirely in Unreal Engine 5 and are looking for a Senior Cinematic Unreal Engine TD / Generalist for an 8–12 week paid freelance contract. This is a cinematic VR project, not gameplay-focused. The role requires high-level expertise in cinematic workflows, real-time rendering, and technical optimization for high-resolution output. PST-friendly availability is preferred.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Environment assembly and world-building in Unreal Engine 5
• Sequencer-based animation and shot timing
• Cinematic lighting and look development
• Niagara FX integration
• Optimization for 4K equirectangular rendering
• Render and export high-resolution master builds
• Collaborate with the team via Perforce
📚 Required Skills
• Senior-level Unreal Engine experience with proven cinematic work
• Strong Sequencer workflow expertise
• Advanced lighting and environment polish skills
• Experience with real-time rendering for film or VR
• Workstation capable of 4K rendering
• Comfortable working fully remote
• Online Unreal reel required
👍 Nice to Have
• Experience with 360° VR cinematic pipelines
• Background in narrative-driven real-time productions
