What you will do
- Manage Tech Risk & Operational Resilience requirements across the UK IT Function.
- Support the Operational Resilience Team in conducting annual reviews and updates of governance and BAU artifacts.
- Lead scenario testing within UK and Group Application Support teams to identify vulnerabilities and translate lessons learned into remedial actions.
- Embed Operational Resilience into third-party IT contracts and provide input into impact assessments and reporting from an IT perspective.
- Manage the Application Support Risk and Control environment, including oversight of Shield actions and reporting on risk/control effectiveness to UK governance forums.
- Ensure all UK risks are identified, analyzed, mitigated, reported, and monitored, working with project teams and Group Technology.
Requirements
- Good experience in a similar role within the industry.
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with confidence in conflict resolution.
- Commercially astute with risk management experience in complex multi-source service/supplier environments.
- Good knowledge of working with and managing third-party Service Providers.
- Ability to run meetings, workshops, and speak confidently with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Work format: Hybrid, must be based in York, United Kingdom.
