TL;DR

Head of Technology Operations (Fintech): Overseeing all operations and technology functions within the UAE region, focusing on robust service management, change delivery, and operational resilience for regulated activities. Location: Hybrid, Must be based in UAE

What you will do

  • Lead and establish operations management and control execution for client services and custody processes in the UAE.
  • Maintain a robust operational control environment including clear procedures, segregation of duties, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure operational resilience, including incident, problem, change, and continuity coordination.
  • Oversee technology service delivery to CSL, including intra-group and third-party services.
  • Manage local change delivery for initiatives impacting CSL (technology, product, process, operating model).
  • Act as a central point of contact and strategic partner for the global tech team with senior leadership in CSL.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of operational leadership experience with a strong technology focus in Financial Services and regulated sectors.
  • At least 3 years of experience within Fintech and/or digital assets space.
  • Proven experience managing a regional affiliate operating on a global technology stack.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UAE market and its regulatory environment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated capability managing outsourced functions, shared services, and third-party providers, including SLA governance and incident management.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Product, and project management.
  • Strong ITIL background.
